Responsibilities of the LCRC Building Representative:

A. Encourage membership of faculty, support staff, and parents.

B. Notify principals, first year teachers, last year’s TOY, and teachers new to Leon County of free membership. Get them to fill out COMPLETELY a membership application (send applications with free membership marked to Barbara McHaffie, Kate Sullivan Elementary). Introduce faculty to new way to join ONLINE for regular paid memberships by linking to our website.

D. Serve as Hostesses/Hosts at our Membership Party - Meet and Greet

E. Assist in obtaining door prizes for Membership Party and Spring Banquet.

F. Work with a committee.

G. Keep your school and parents informed of activities/events by distributing or posting flyers and newsletters, send e-mails to the faculty, make announcements at faculty meetings and through personal contact with members, and have your school’s Web Manager post the LCRC address on your school web page for teachers and parents.

Membership Party - October 26th, Monday, at Tall. Automobile Museum
LCRC’s K-12 Writing Contest - deadline January, reception & workshop February

Poetry Jam for Middle School at Florida High - April
Mini-Conference / Banquet - April
