Grace and Her Magic Feet

Once upon a time there was a little girl named Grace. Grace loved to dance. She loved dancing so much that she danced all the time. Grace danced at school, at home, at the park and of course at dance class! Grace even danced while sleeping…in her dreams. Grace danced so much that her legs grew tired one day and her feet began to hurt so Grace tried soaking her feet in the bathtub. That did not work so Grace tried wiggling her toes. Grace asked her mommy to kiss her toes. "Pee you!" said her mommy. Still, her feet did not feel better.

Just then, Grace got a great idea! Grace decided to take a nice walk in the moonlight, that always made Grace feel better. Grace liked the smell of the air at night. While Grace was walking, she looked up and saw a shooting star. Then Grace saw another shooting star, and another, and another, and another! Grace decided that this was a sign ... she needed to make a wish, fast!

Grace closed her eyes and wished with all her heart. Grace wished that her feet would feel better soon, and she wished for everyone in the world to be nice to each other. Grace also wished for a new pair of ballet shoes. Grace opened her eyes and suddenly ... KAPOOSH! Her toes were tingling and her legs were sparkling and fairy dust was
flying everywhere! When Grace looked down, she had on the most beautiful ballet shoes she had ever seen. The shoes were made of flower petals and sunshine and her feet felt warm and soft. Grace was so happy that she ran home right away to tell her family all about her wish! Grace's mommy was happy that Grace's feet felt better.

Grace's daddy was talking to mommy about how nice everyone was to him that day and Grace was happy that wishes really do come true.
