Marilyn Sharp Membership Award 2008-2009

The Marilyn Sharp Membership Award is given each year to the school that has the greatest percentage of their faculty and staff as members of the Leon County Reading Council.

The award of a plaque and beautiful statue were presented at the

April Mini-Conference.   

This award was named in memory of Marilyn Sharp, an inspiring Tallahassee public school reading teacher, officer in our local council, and President-Elect of the Florida Reading Council.
