The Magical Bird of Hamalin

Once, there was a girl named Gabriela. She was swimming in her pool. Then she saw a whirlpool in the water. She went closer and closer… She went so close to the fast spinning water that she fell in. Her body turned so fast that Gabriela didn’t notice she was falling into a new land. Her bathing suit had transformed into a sparkling striped blue and white dress. Gabriela opened her eyes and the first thing she saw was a glimmering peacock! “Hi dear,” said the peacock, “you just arrived in the land of Hamalin. I have a welcome gift for you!” The peacock gave Gabriela a shining pair of light blue shoes. “Oh, thank you!” Gabriela was so surprised. “Please tell me, how do I get back to Florida?” The peacock answered: “You have to go to see the magical bird who lives in Pinkville. So the peacock said… “Follow the smell of baking cookies!” Just then she noticed the scent of chocolate chips and she began to follow it. Gabriela walked happily.
The smell led to a lovely castle. In it, she met a prince. He asked: “Where do I find a princess?” Gabriela said: “Follow me and we can ask the magical bird.” Together they walked following the warm sugary scent. The sun was going down in the afternoon sky. They stopped to rest under a shiny stone statue. Suddenly, they heard: “Hello.” The Prince and Gabriela were very surprised, they didn’t know who spoke. They heard “Hello” again. Gabriela realized that the statue was talking to them. “Hello statue!” They said together. The statue said: “Are you on your way to see the magical bird?” “Yes” they answered “Can I float behind you? I want to ask him for real legs,” said the statue. “Sure!” they answered joyfully. They walked and when it started to get dark, they saw the glowing pink lights of Pinkville. It was easy to guess where the magical bird lived because in the center of Pinkville there was an enormous golden tree. They ran to the door of the tree, knocked, and a big nasal voice said: “Who is it?” “It’s Gabriela, the statue, and the prince.” “Ok” said the nasal voice. “You can come in.” When the door opened Gabriela saw a majestic blue bird with red tail feathers. “What do you need?” He asked. Gabriela was nervous, but she spoke clearly: “I want to get beck to Florida, Statue wants legs, and the prince wants to find a princess. The magic bird said, “First, you must do something for me. An evil Unicorn lives in a medieval castle and she wants to take over the land. You must try to get her horn.”
The three adventurers set out for the castle. It wasn’t very far, so soon they reached the front door of the castle. They knocked, but nobody answered. Statue said, “I’m made of stone, I can break it open.” Statue floated to the door and crashed his base against the door. It broke into little pieces, the Statue’s base cracked open. Underneath were two beautiful legs. Statue began to dance and sing. “Yay! I have legs.”
At that moment, the unicorn ran out, “you saved me!” She said. “I’ve been locked in here before she was crushed by a house.” Suddenly she began to change. Her horn fell off and she wasn’t a unicorn anymore. She was a lovely princess. “I’ve finally found my prince!”
All four friends spent the evening laughing, dancing, and telling stories. Then, they found bedrooms in the castle and al fell happily asleep. When Gabriela woke up she stretched and rubbed her eyes. She was back in her pool at home floating on an inflatable mattress.
The End!
